Hull Kingston Rovers were formed in 1882 by a group of boilermakers

Salford City Reds

The club began life rather modestly in 1873, when the boys of the Cavendish Street chapel, situated in the Hulme district of Manchester, decided to form their own rugby football team. Within two years, they were to cross the Irwell into Salford and,, in 1879, they adopted the name of their new home. The club rapidly developed into one of the strongest teams in the country and became the first ever champions of Lancashire in 1893

I have supported this club for years and we had a good coach in harrison doing really well for use. All i have seen with mcrae is a backwards step so i will not pay through the gates anymore and to be honest i wont go through those gates again as its just a waste of money i dont mind if they play well and loose but the players dont look as though they want to no. And what type of cpoach his he we he says he does not no what to do to change it which means we are stuck with a coach that dont nmo how to coach. So not wasting my money in these trying times watching crap

Walking distance from new ground - so hurry up and build it.

If it wasn't for the fact that I have a four year old who loves going win lose or draw and doesn't understand how bad we actually are (plus the fact that I have already paid via my season ticket) I wouldn't be going either. I've been hearing the same old crap from this club for years and nothing ever changes. We've got young lads dropped to the reserves when they haven't done anything wrong playing out of position when other players get chance after chance to play with no pride or passion without the risk of being dropped. I'd rather get battered giving young players a go than watch this shower draw a damn good wage and doing naf all.

I would also like someone who went to the game to tell me if the commentators were right in their assessment of Wilshere. I know there has been rumours about his willingness to play with certain other members of the squad and if this is true I have lost all respect for him. BBC Humberside basically said that he didn't want to know. In fact the only player who seemed to come away from the game with any credit was Adamson (despite being mistaken for McGivilry and Stapo :? )

 Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

And how exactly is that going to help the development of our youngsters?

How long do you think they'll want to stay with us, and how much will they learn, when they play for an Academy side that gets battered by SL opposition on a weekly basis?
