Cannonball Tackles : Wed Mar 30, 2016 1:57 pm
It seems that consistency in punishment doesn't exist at the RFL, after MCB has been sidelined for 8-12 weeks and needs surgery on the leg injury caused by Brough on Monday.
Link here: Clicky It seems to me that if we are not going to outlaw the tackling to the lower leg in multiple tackles, we at least have to be consistent with the punishment when it happens. I think Brough can count himself extremely lucky not to be facing a lengthy ban, because it seems to be luck that determines punishment of these incidents at the moment. Players are getting injured and other players are not facing the consequences of their actions all over SL. I think all that most fans want is consistency, and to me, it's not happening. |
