Been bugging me this. How is it on the day of local derbies we cop for fecking catalan at home on good Friday and Huddersfield away easter Monday? Catalan will bring their usual 20 yet we'll take plenty to Huddersfield...

I have thought the same for a few weeks, probably further proof that the Doc should keep it shut and stop antagonising the powers that be.

Some form of deal that tomorrow would have been a good idea, one that they can't screw fans over with once they announce it.

Not to mention 11.5K at Cas on a thursday night whilst live on sky............

I've thought the same why always us when we could have wig/wid/war/St.s or anyone really, I suppose hudds think the same about us at home.

Salford really is a hard sell even for the converted when you consider if you have ppv tv or other means and without football still have the chance to spend good friday watching souths/bulldogs brisbane/cowboys fc/kr St's wig, or paying £25 to stand in an empty arena with two stands completely closed it's a tough job. I wonder if sale ever have to accept playing in front of a half shut down arena.

Sale probably accept what ever deal the people who run the club have negotiated with the stadium.
Tbf taking aside playing a big club argument, we are playing Catalans who do not bring support, we have 3k so why have two stands open with 10 people sat in them with 20 stewards just doesn't make financial sense to the club.

Maybe but it's hardly inspirational, I don't ever remember such restrictions at the willows.

Its the price we have to pay due to us not having a derby. I'm sure if Swinton or Leigh were in Superleague we'd be playing one of them today.

We are in the same boat, over the years we've had Catalans, London, Crusaders, Wakefield, yourselves and Widnes as our marquee Easter games. hardly money spinners.
i think we are the only 2 clubs that don't have a big derby game at Easter.
