What's all this so-called 'optimism' I keep hearing from Salford fans about what you think you'll do during the coming season? On what basis exactly?

All you've attracted to your usually empty stadium is load of over the hill players and overrated ones like Rangi Chase.

I don't see you challenging the Wigans,Saints and Wires of this world. I don't even see you challenging my lot Hull KR. (who are a much bigger club than Salford, by the way)

Rumour had it your dodgy new owner wanted to change your name to the Salford OAPs in tribute to your new acquisitions. Can anyone confirm or deny this story?

I'm afraid you plastic Mancs are in for a poor season despite your hilarious predictions of a top four place. I can see a lowly 10th place finish for hapless Salford. You heard it here first.

Now, people, you have a choice. You could either recognise this as the ramblings of someone who's bored because his mum has hidden her underwear catalogue and the box of Kleenex, or you could respond and engage in a day or so of tedious bantz over the usual subjects (crowd size, ageing players, overrated players, my club's better than your club, y'know, the usual).
