A Widnesian friend of mine has told me that he's "100% signed"

It was only a few weeks back though that I read that Flynn was looking for a part-time club so he could concentrate on plumbing full-time.

I can see that making a lot of sense for us to be honest. We don't really need a full-time back-up winger... at the end of the day it's not the most mentally tasking, or tactical, position on the pitch - particularly once you're experienced. Saves us a few quid, keeps him happy.
