We are now playing Wigan away next Thursday not Friday. I am most disappointed as I am unable to attend as I organised something for the Thursday evening rather than the more convenient Friday. The statement suggested it was an agreement between both clubs & the RFL. A rearranged match with only 8 days to go? Could I thank them again for ignoring supporters.
Perhaps the game may get more supporters if they were given more consideration.

I'm travelling from Gran Canaria to watch the game. My flight is on Friday. Just fantastic. Do you think the club, or indeed the Wigan club, seeing as it's their doing, will refund my flight cost?

Sorry but this is an absolute disgrace, 7/8 days notice is not acceptable.

I'd taken a days holiday as have a couple of friends who were attending, all you get (in a curt email) from the club is it wasn't us so just like it.

For all the investment in the club certain aspects like this are shambolic at best, it's like the club want to continually alienate the fans.

If people are so bothered (dont get me wrong I understand why you are, it's a big inconvenience to me too), do something about it rather than complaining on an internet forum which nobody from either Wigan or Salford will see.

I arranged my holiday to ensure that we were back home for the Wigan game at the DW Stadium clearly I will not be attending, so that's at least five of us,but in no way would I hold our club to blame.

The situation is unfortunate but the lack of communication or warning from all concerned is the crime.

A simple note on fixture list stating date or venue possible or simple TBC.

Communication in this day and age is basic and easy tool that ALL involved should of been using to keep us informed!

Couldn't agree more, fully accept that this isn't Salfords fault but the shambolic way it was handled is.

A caveat on the fixture list was needed.
More notice, 7 days is terrible.
And some sort of explanation from Salford, still nothing on the website about the fixture change and no apology.

What really annoys me is that the Doc will goad and annoy the RFL for the most miniscule thing on Anti Social media yet something like this that affects the fans (who he continually calls the life blood of the club) and there is not a murmur.

I'm sorry but Salford/The Doc need to grow a set.

What are the club supposed to do?
Have you watched the IL interview? Is that not explanation enough for you?
It's a massive pisser for people who wanted to go and now can't, and i'm sorry for them. But how many do you reckon it affects really? 20? It's not like we take 1000's away from home is it?
I understand you are finding it difficult to find something to moan about at this juncture....
We have gained one extra supporter on Thurs anyway
