I am not saying every player is super fit. I'm saying they should be considering they are professional athletes and have a highly qualified S&C team behind them.

Perhaps a little unfair to criticise Platt's fitness because he hasn't been playing at this level.

I think Meli has looked ok him and Sau are striking up a decent partnership. Its the other side that concerns me with Johnson out injured! Rapira does look like it might take till next season to regain full confidence an fitness. Platt should be no where near the team

Meli has been dreadful in defence. If it hadn't been for the walk in tries he's scored this season, he'd be in for a lot more stick.

I said at the start, the guy is way past it as far as wingers go. If you want the best out of him put him in the centres.

Thankfully he's only on a 12 month contract.

Meli isn't going to score many (if any) from 30+ yards out anymore but he's big, powerful and takes some stopping near the try line. The problem is his lack of speed now chasing back if an opposition player makes a break.

I think Noble just brought him in for a year, like a few others, to add some experience and don't laugh . . winning mentality!!

His speed isn't an issue for me, it's his aerial ability. The bloke can't jump, I have lost count how many times he's either cost us or nearly cost is a try by not dealing with a kick in his direction.

Hounding? Who's hounding. Stop being so sensitive. I commented on how dreadful his defence has been this year, which is clear to all and sundry who have seen all our games this season.

For those who want to argue the squad for next year, League weekly includes ben Te'0, James Roberts (ex Penrith) and Talupe Faletau as targets as well as Locke and Hauraki.

I'm assuming Talupe Faletau is Toby who plays RU, would be a natural RL player and I've thought that every time I've seen him play for Wales. Very athletic for his size and I'd think would be Morleys replacement in the front row.

Roberts I'm not sure about as he's not the biggest guy and if were looking at him to play on the wing you might as well stick with Mullaney for his kicking.

Te'o I'm guessing would play as a utility forward as he he can operate in the front and second row, makes you wonder who might be going at the end of the season from the forwards.

My mate said he was having a pint with Graham Holroyd watching Salford his weekend and says Joel Tompkins is a done deal. Also think Sneyd not interested in coming back. Not sure how much in the know GH is but my said was saying he was sure as anything. Also mentioned GH has a kicking school were he offers lessons, with him coaching Folly and presumably living local if he was out in Eccles, wouldn't be too shabby approaching him about his services.
