You could always try and call a sharehloders meeting, if you are a shareholder of course, and try to get a vote of no confidence in the current board, thats what has happened in the past to one or two clubs and happens in business in general.
I know it isn't easy, we tried it at rovers many years ago but because of the clubs constitution at the time, it failed miserably.
We then went into administration shortley afterwards which thankfuly got rid of the dead wood (the board) and allowed us to re organise with a new board with new ideas.
i'm not suggesting you go into administration but maybe your shareholders could have a bigger say and ultimately change the course of your clubs future for the better.
I am a shareholder and why would I ask for a vote of no confidence in a chairman and directors who have kept the club going for a good number of years?
When HKR went into administration I presume that they paid off all the debts? and did not leave ordinary people out of pocket.
The present board have put more money into the club and its future than possibly any other board of directors(New stadium etc) and they deserve better than where we are at present.
Yes we are struggling on the field at present, the players are not playing anywhere near to their potential and some fans are a little irate but in other aspects the club is moving forwards especially with the community development side.
I think that what HKR have achieved in the last few years has been excellent but we dont require any lectures over what we should do especially if it involves going into administration owing people lots of money.
