Huddersfield Giants 2013 over achievers

Huddersfield Giants 2014 under achievers ??????????

Wakefield : Fri Apr 16, 2021 10:22 pm
St Helens had their worst 40 minutes since 2003 and Wakefield still managed to score 0 (zero) points in that time. Leigh must be thinking “you know what, we actually might not be the worst team in the comp”.

I’m not sure who will finish bottom now. It’s too close to call between Leigh and Wakefield.

It’s going to be an interesting season at the bottom!

Thanks Steph, very reassuring! I now think Leigh will get 10 points given the hoped for forthcoming signings.
This season ten points should be enough to achieve 11th place. Sad for Wakefield, they have overachieved for years but I think this is the year, after so long in Super League that they drop down a division. Perhaps they will remerge with a ground suitable for Super League.

They have been claiming they will have a ground suitable for SL since 1996 so I wouldn’t hold your breath!

You'd best look at who is actually bottom of Superleague before you let the Curry person wind you up.

Salford have 16 points to date but that isn't eight wins

It's a Wakey wind up..........

Bit early for such talk IMO there are about 8 clubs that can go down this season. Leeds, Wigan and Saints aren’t exactly the easiest 3 fixtures either, they’ve got plenty of time to turn things around. I’d be more worried if I supported Salford

So, having failed (badly) with your trolling attempt on the Wakefield board, you are now trying to muster some support on the VT.
You sad, sad, sad little man / woman.
No mention of the reigning Champions being unable to muster a single point in the first half, against an injury riddled Trinity side, put together on a shoestring budget.
I thought that Trinity would concede 50 against Saints on Friday and against that measure, it wasn't the worst result.

Keep trying though Steph :SUBMISSION:

People have been projecting the downfall of Wakefield for years and they always find a way to survive.

But if it finally does happen (doubtful) well the water is just fine in the championship......

8? No way. I'd say there are 6 very decent looking teams in Saints, Wigan, Hull, Warrington, Castleford and Catalans. There are 3 very weak looking teams in Wakefield, Salford and Leigh. Inbetween you have Leeds who need players back ASAP, Huddersfield who are still finding their feet under a new coach but don't look terrible, and Hull KR who at the minute look a little bit in no mans land. Too good to be relegated, not good enough to make the playoffs.

From what I've seen I still fully expect Leigh to go down.

Which would be Leigh v Wigan then Warrington. We are now 3 games in, and you're cock sure who will be relegated. In that case i expect you would bet your house on it.........................Thought not!
