I wonder if the transfer of McGoldrick was part of the compensation offered to Cas with respect to Hull's signing of Chase.

The Power is with the players these days, despite his contract if he wants to leave then Cas have no choice but to let him go and at least get some money for it.

I would guess that Cas and Ferres have no choice about this move, they are doing what is best for the club.

I would guess that Cas and Ferres have no choice about this move, they are doing what is best for the club.

Doing the best for club is holding out for what the player is worth - if nobody stumps it up then tough.

Cas, as always are pushovers....I await Daryl Clark going to Warrington for next season too, word will get out how easy it is to get Cas players and the one's that are actually any decent (so 3-4 of them ) will be off playing for new teams next season.

unless they have huge faith in Jamie Ellis?

Millward the clown loves him and because he had a good debut the fans do too (for now), happy days!
