with the currency and tax advantages SL generally pays these kinds of players a hell of a lot more than they get in the nrl.

edit : forgot to mention that aussies also normally get on top of that free rent and car which is paid for by the clubs

Frank Pritchard is much loved and admired at Penrith. After the Penrith victory over Wests Tigers this weekend, and coach Matt Elliot's glowing tributes to the man post match, I doubt that Frank will have trouble geting the salary he wants at Penrith next year.

In any case there will be a dampening of the flow of Antiipodeans to the UK as a result of the new immigration regulations and Inland Revenue investigations.

Similarly in Perpignan regarding the tax inspectors, whose probing inquiries allegedly caused the Le Petit General to leave a year earlier than he wanted to.

and yeah franky pritchard had a good game yesterday but the story ive posted is from todays papers.

he wanted to walk out on them last year and there was a story doing the rounds that one game he refused to go back onto the field from the bench faking injury when he was fine to play

whats the chances of pritchard being allowed entry, he was in that fight the other year where he and his brother got stabbed, did he ever get charged over that or was he the innocent party?

forgot about that incident.

dont think he got charged but then again, if they arent allowing people for driving offences you never know
