It is quite evident that 'William' doesn't live in the real world. Back in the good old days there were no mobile phones, a hand full of television stations, no games consoles etc etc.
Now in 2013 we have smart phones, iPads, laptops, home cinema systems and so on and so forth. Rugby League no longer has an entertainment monopoly over towns in the north of England like it once did. Simple as that.
Can we not just block the boring troll?
Does the modern day usage of mobile phones, games consoles, iPads, laptops, multi-channel TV, home cinema systems, etc, also account for the poor attendances in the Challenge Cup and SL play-off fixtures? And if so, why aren't all those modern day accoutrements affecting the sales of discounted Super League season tickets and affecting regular season SL attendances to the same degree?
Are Super League fans pre-occupied with their laptops, mobiles, iPads, games consoles, etc, only after the regular SL season has concluded?
