The home kit is the official colours of the Motor Neurone Disease Association it's representing, as you may or may not know it is the disease that killed former Warrington player and coach Paul Darbyshire, i thought it was a bit garish at first but i realised i could put it to better use as my new cycling top, support the club and give to a well deserving charity.
It's not a fashion statement it's about raising awareness and money for one of the most awful diseases there is. They won't raise much awareness having a blue&yellow kit. Unfortunately Motor Neurone disease doesn't get the publicity or probable funds (although i'm no expert) that it should
It's an awful disease and i applaud the Warrington club for raising awareness of it.
I'm aware of the disease and have gave generously to it in the past on hearing Mike Gregory's struggle with the awful disease, it's great that their raising awareness but is it true only £5 of the total shirt sales are going to the charity that's a bit slow if you ask me.
