Stats show Leicester as the best supported English rugby club followed by Leeds and Wigan so two of the top three best supported rugby clubs are league

Manipulated stat do, but actual attendances speak a different language. Event games are the way to go.....ask the NRL or wen the organisers of RLWC 2013.
The fact that Saracens and quins can attract 80k to regular season games should be proof enough of the appetite and Te benefits of these EVENTS.

Back to the opening question. Not a lot by the looks of it. Ibi Ali was one of the soldiers who has just completed 'walking with the wounded' trip to Antarctica with Prince Harry. He was a member of the Staffordshire Uni RL team. Good man and ticks all the boxes the RL should be looking to use pr wise

Insecure supporters of Super League slag off Rugby Union attendances at club level saying they are crap.

The following facts are thusly established...

Super League Total & Average (2013) = 1,557,659/182 = 8,559
Aviva Premiership Total & Average (2012-13) = 1,662,682/132 = 12,596

Insecure supporters of Super League cry FOUL!!! by claiming that Aviva Premiership attendances include 'EVENT' attendances.

So' EVENT' attendances of 186,151 are excluded and Aviva Premiership attendances are still 34% higher than in Super League.

Super League Total & Average (2013) = 1,557,659/182 = 8,559
Aviva Premiership Total & Average (2012-13) = 1,662,682/132 = 12,596
MINUS Event Day Attendances (2012-13) = 186,165 from 3 events

PLUS Magic Weekend attendances (2013) = 62,042 from 7 fixtures

Nothing insecure (or modern) about me i'm afraid, fan of the game for 33 years. The clue's in the name.

Thanks for confirming you included RU "event" attendances but "forgot" to include similar RL games too.
Nothing surprising there though eh. How about we exclude those events for obvious and much discussed reasons then re-do your table? You probably already did though and again for obvious reasons you've decided to go another way with twisting your stats....
