Big game for Toulouse against Featherstone Rovers this Saturday in Toulouse. Toulouse must win and Halifax must lose to Hull KR in order for Toulouse to make the Middle 8s.

It can happen but it is far from certain.

TO should be favourites against Fev (it really depends on how they react to their coach leaving), and HKR will be favourites against Fax. From a bookies perspective, probably a toss of the coin looking at both games combined for who makes the top 4. Regardless of the Saturday result, Fax still have their destiny in their own hands.

The 8's format may not suit everyone, but it's certainly making for a more exciting end to the season from a Championship perspective.

Fax are on a roll and I fancy them to upset HKR and TO seem to be getting some confidence with some more players back which is encouraging for the second phase.
It's been up and down for TO but maybe they have realised that although their full-strength side is arguably the second-best team in the division money will be provided to improve the squad quality.
Duffy to Fev, if true is a good move. Swinton were by far, the most entertaining team to come to France this season.

Are you saying that money will be provided to improve the Toulouse squad quality? If so, when?

I think it's pretty obvious the present squad isn't deep enough in quality as the Ford, Robin, Kane Bentley and others injuries have shown. Money will need to be provided to strengthen if TO13 have any real ambitions of getting to the next level.
This isn't rocket science.

It is obvious to me that this needs to be done. But your previous posting suggested that there were plans in place already to do so at some unspecified time.

Toulouse was rumoured to be one of the clubs interested in securing the services of Hepatitis Cahill before he decided to stay with Widnes.

The plan as I recall ,was to get into SL for the 2020 season after a season or two consolidating a Championship place. Houles has repeated many times that his squad isn't ready for SL so the idea, I assume is to increase the squad quality and depth accordingly otherwise the club will stand still.
