Let all the doubters keep doubting and those who believe keep believing.

We’re only interested in those in the bubble. Anyone who wants to come in the bubble, you can come in.

But you’ve got to keep believing.

Shorties always claim rhey're normal. The only decent stand is the new one, the rest are 'not up to SL standard'- a bit like the pitch.
Leeds have spent more than £9m on ground improvements since 1996, including at least £1.5m on the South Stand. The South Stand and in particular the North Stand are effective, safe and well in excess of "SL Standard". There remain plans to replace the South Stand when Hetherington gets his financial ducks in a row but that hasn't stopped the club spending another £250k on getting it ready for the current season.

The pitch is more of a problem but there is a big Hetherington announcement tomorrow in which there's an outside chance the root cause of that could be eliminated once and for all.

Turfing the rah rah's out? a plastic pitch may be of benefit to Leeds, especially with the union lot playing on the pitch over the winter.

As I said, it's an outside chance. It's more likely that GH says the game is up financially and the RU club will operate on a much smaller budget going forward - a budget which based on my limited knowledge of RU means they are unlikely to challenge for promotion again in the near future. Or he might have found a new investor. Something big has to change there and their own (few) fans question the point of playing at somewhere as outsized as Headingley now.

The club still say they will lay a completely new pitch but it will by necessity have to wait until after the construction work on the South Stand is done, whenever that is.

South Leeds stadium then? Although I suspect that the neighbouring area would come as a bit of a culture shock to traveling union supporters.

Corrected.

Incidentally, an exclamation mark ends a sentence and does not require a full stop. The first letter of the next word begins a new sentence and should therefore be capitalised. Who needs flankers' grammar was actually correct.

Huh, I'm of normal height and have never noticed this despite standing in the thing hundreds of times, right at the back. Curious.

You sure about that stumpy?

Ok, 6 foot 4 might be a little above average but I can't remember having this problem in any other stand. Getting the right slope on the roof so it doesn't get in the way isn't rocket science.

I'm 6ft 2 and stood at the back many times. The only point my view of the game has ever been obstructed is when the ball is kicked high or once a few years ago when a certain Mr Adamson, injured at the time, decided to stand directly in front of me. Needless to say, I did not object. He's a big lad is Matt Adamson.

As you can see the brick building is no more, I would imagine the wooden old club shop will be the next to go.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?

What struck me today was the size of the land which is being cleared. This is going to be one hell of a stand.

Whats so good about a fancy new ground anyway? Give me a dump with atmosphere than a soulless, shiny effort with between 5 and 15k empty seats every game situated next to a retail park.

I know they bring in more sponsorship and look better on TV but I prefer going to Belle Vue than the KC or DW!

Wilderspool, Central Park and Boulevard all had better atmospheres than there current efforts. I do however prefer Langtree Park to Knowsley road.

My least favourite of all SL grounds I have been to is craven park. That temporary stand was dreadful.
