Can I have the link to where you did this about last years increased attendances?
Of course it exists, because if it didn't then you would just be showing yourself up as a massive tw*t.
I find it incredibly disheartening that Rugby League has 'fans' like this who take so much time and effort just to point out that the game is in decline. It's incredible that after a weekend of great games some would prefer to focus on this rather than the actual sport itself.
Especially when they didn't dream of doing it when crowds were on the up.

I'm sure we'll see a similar thread next year when crowds are up 10% on this year... or maybe not! Oh well, we'll leave it to the RFL to big up the game instead, at least they'll reach a slightly wider audience
Do us a favour. Go and look in the mirror at yourself and ask why you are going to this time and effort to try and prove that Rugby League is on a downward spiral.
According to the current stats, SL attendances are down by over 11% so far this season compared to attendances for the same fixtures last year. Are you questioning those figures? If so, then feel free to provide your own which might prove otherwise.

It's pretty obvious that you wouldn't be doing the same if crowds were up 12%
If attendances were up 12% this year I wouldn't need to. The RFL would be reporting the figures instead, would they not?

so why do you take so much joy in pointing out the apparent decline of the sport. Do you even like the game and if so, how can you derive such a deranged pleasure from falling attendances?
Them's the figures to date... are you suggesting nobody should be interested in them or take notice of them because they show that attendances are currently over 11% down compared to last year? And how is taking an interest in attendance figures tantamount to being deranged and not liking the game of Rugby League?
Just out of interest, did you have this much interest in attendances when they were on the up? I've tried finding the 72 page threads where you pointed out how great things were but I can't seem to find them?
Yes, I'm always interested in attendances... the RFL beat me to it last year in reporting the figures. Last year they were very interested in doing so... this year, they are not.

There is little doubt that crowds are down, in reality we've done incredibly well the last couple of years when you consider the recession that we're in. It was inevitable to take a turn in the other direction.
So what's wrong with discussing them again?

I'm almost certain that only RL manages to produce the type of pr*ck that revels in the games apparent demise.
No need for that here... this isn't totalrl.com. I'm sure there's a positive thread about SL attendances on there somewhere which you will find more to your liking.
I don't see it as bagging the game showing how it is travelling attendance wise. I enjoy being able to measure our success or failure, keep the stats coming!

Yeah no agenda pushed at all by the OP and this thread is perfectly in balance with his other positive posts about the game.
