It’s 2018 now isn’t it, I’m sure that had he known Toppo would have delayed his death a year to suit you - stop being a nasty little pedant and just accept you’re wrong.
The kit design is a nod to both Toppo and 1979 end of. The real question is why does it bother you so much. The only people who get this wound up about another club are usually turncoats imo. So printer are you one of those vile little creatures. Is little old Printer from Flanshaw and not Middleton? I wonder.
I’m not wound up, you’re the one resorting to insults so it’s clear to see whose the wound up one here. I just gave my honest opinion on 3 teams kits and even though my opinion of Wakefield’s wasn’t even bad you’re the one wound up because I’ve not said the shirt is amazing. If people aren’t saying the Wakefield kit is amazing or that Carter is the best or Johnstone is the best winger ever or dare rate Makinson then you get the same few Wakefield fans on here throwing their toys out of the pram.
It’s 2018 now but that is Wakefield’s 2019 shirt. The comment from you about Topliss delaying his death is just dumb and childish, if the club really truly wanted to mark his 10 year passing properly then his tribute shirt should’ve been the 2018 kit. It’s pretty simple, any anniversary whether it’s 10, 20, 30 or 40 years then the last number of the year is the same e.g. 1979 -2019, not 2008-2019. Not my fault that Wakefield can’t get their maths right and have a shirt that celebrates losing a cup final and a 10 year anniversary that’ll actually be 11 years.
