Huddersfield fans make me laugh.
When teams give them a thrashing they slyly deflect any credit/remove credit for the opposition by bemoaning how poor huddersfield were.
Yet when roles are reversed, huddersfield fans get chippy when the quality of the opposition is questioned. ''WHAT ABOUT HUDDS? WE DESERVE CREDIT! WE DESERVE PRAISE! PRAISE US!''
In fact theres a similiar thread on your board regarding bradford last week.
Huddersfield are an average team who will be making up the numbers this season. They won 1 playoff game last season and I imagine they'll win one this season. Maybe now the full scale of how meaningless their achievment last season was will sink in for those who proclaimed it like it as the second coming.
calm down dear.
i wasn't deflecting any praise away from saints, i just don't think they played particularly well either they just tackled better, passed better, ran harder than we did, they were better than we were in every department i have said so on another thread.
i have also said many times this season when we have won games when we haven't played well that had we played a better team we could have struggled to win ( bradford away, wakefield home and london away) we weren't particularly good but won because the opposition were poor, same happened on friday, saints were average and convincingly beat a poor team on the night.
it must hurt a bit that leeds haven't beaten this average team in 7 games now despite being far superior than we are?
