Vastman likes to make things up, especially if it fits his anti Leeds agenda, Warrington paid well well above the odds for Morgan smith because they believed he was the next big thing, Leeds would not increase their offer for smith, turns out smith is not the next big thing, and Leeds were right to not pay over the odds, Leeds never pay over the odds for anybody, they believe playing for Leeds itself and buying into the club culture is more important than throwing money at juniors who just think they are it. I doubt Warrington will be so quick to just throw similar money to unproved juniors again.
