Quite. I hope the Grand final isn't decided on the officials. That last try just shows the inept of the VR when it was a clear knock on. Next year will be a waste of money if this continues like this when we have VR at every game. The whole encounter tonight was to appease the Stains club.
I thought I was bad when it comes to being biased, but that just takes the cake. Are you talking about the Joe Batchelor try here? Bell has it in his hand and it's removed by Lam towards the Saints try line, how can it possibly be a knock on by Bell?
There was no major controversy in the game at all. The Batchelor try was the correct decision, clearly. The disallowed try for Leigh was perhaps more debatable. But Kendall saw it being touched live and called it, he was always going with no try. The video was inconclusive so they had nothing to overturn that decision. I could understand you being a little upset over that one, but again probably the correct decision.
I've seen a lot of crying from Leigh fans about the Percival tackle, but there was nothing wrong with it at all, bar the the offside. Bell's tackle on Amone was sensational as well and should really have seen a card for Amone for the knee. Shoulder contact into the stomach area with the arms wrapping, textbook tackle. I don't recall what the other two charges Leigh got were for, but there was a lot of frustration at how the game was going I guess.
