Great, £7.50 to watch NZ v PNG at Headingley. Even I might be tempted at that price.

I can imagine that being a bit of a ding dong.

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

Yes, but the combined attendances of Hull and Hull KR are about 18,000 so add 6 or 7,000 out of towners and the game should practically sell out. Maybe there will be a late rsuh. in theory this should be an attractive fixture, two semi finalists from 2008 playing against eacch other and with all the pageantry and flair that the Fiji team bring to the occasion, ( Haka etc).

I constantly hear Hull fans berate the lack of visitors to the KC, yet in 2011 when England played NZ there I saw countless fans from all over the country, even a few from Barrow!

I think around 5000 is probably all that will turn up based on St Helens total lack of promotion. The local authority is probably one of the worst in the north west for promoting anything other than its own ideology and Saints never take on anything that doesn't directly promote Saints. They aren't even offering coach travel to the world cup games for fans and that's the attitude they take to every international. It's nothing to do with them so they do nothing. They deserve nothing as a result IMO!

I admire Bristol's efforts even if they are struggling against the tide; a tide not helped by the latest news out of the USA.

Hi All,

Firstly, sorry about the sales pitch nature of this post.

There are a group of us going to the RLWC semi's (majority are Wigan fans) and we have a return train ticket to London (including tube ticket to get you to Wembley once in london) that we no longer need. There is a reserved seat at a table for both legs of the trip and the details are:

Leave Wigan North Western at 8:09AM arrive London Euston at 10:12AM
Leave London Euston at 20:31 arrive Wigan North Western at 23:04

This could be yours for the bargain price of £38.25 in total.

Obviously, if you don't want to sit with us you can find another available seat, but we're a friendly enough bunch, and it's a short enough journey.

PM me or reply on here if interested.

Cheers,

Dan

Ticket sales for the 2 games at Workington have passed the 5,000 mark for each game - can reasonably expect crowds of around 6500-7500 at both on that basis.

Some might look at this as being harsh but I think it's fair. When are the Rugby League going to stop persisting with this fantasy expansion. If it hasn't worked by now, it never will! I'm all for reaching out to a wider audience with our game but not at the expense of historical clubs in the homelands.
