Toulouse would have had a bigger victory margin had their goal kicker Mark Kheirallah been on target.

Toulouse were missing several key players, including ace five eighth Jonathan Ford. Yet still they comfortably beat Halifax.

This shows what an excellent team Toulouse is, and how it deserves to be in Super League on talent alone.

Are Toulouse now fully professional or still only 70%?

I genuinely came here to give TO some credit for the win on Sunday, a game in which Fax didn't "click" at all (bearing in mind we'd won 7 matches on the trot before this one).... However, your comments here make me wish that both TO and all other RL French teams implode and disappear into the primeval detritus that you deserve.

TO are nowhere near SL standard.

Your nasty wishes regarding all French clubs are totally uncalled for. If you don't like what I said then criticise me, not the French clubs.

Have you tried being gracious in victory and not antagonise fellow supporters?

Fax are certainly NOT a 'crap' team. The first game v TO they were unlucky not to take the points and the second they were beaten by the better team on the day. The final game in Toulouse will be another close one and TO13 will need to find a way to keep Worrincey quiet. This is the first time in two seasons they have had to face such a big, quick and strong winger and were pretty clueless on how to handle him at times.

Toulouse may be good (they only just squeezed by us at their place when we fielded our B team), but if Toulouse are in the Championship next season, Toronto might just rip them apart.

Reality check: Rover's aren't quite SL standard yet, and if we're not, Toulouse are way off.

There's no rush.

This is their first year in the Championship, they're competing well (they may not make top4, but they're right up there fighting for it), largely made up of French players, I think their usual home ground is undergoing developments. They're growing and improving, but SL is probably a bit too early.

We seem to be seeing a higher standard in the Championship, and with Toronto coming up and if Bradford manage to get a grip, 2018 could be a very competitive league.

With respect to all of the Championship clubs, none of them are of SL quality at the moment but, they dont need to be in order to compete week in week out in the Championship.
You'd have to expect all of the clubs from the Championship, involved in the Middle 8's, to tweak their squads, if they want to have a shot at getting promoted and further changes would still be needed in the close season to compete week in week out in SL, just ask Leigh.

At present, only KR are worthy of a spot in the top flight but, you would expect TO to be there or thereabouts and if they can strengthen their squad, who knows. However, with Widnes maybe starting to turn the corner, it looks as though Leigh may be the ones battling to retain their top flight status and the MPG will probably be KR vs Leigh.

Next season will far more testing.
Toronto will very likely be challenging from the off and they, of all clubs, seem prepared to spend huge sums, in their quest for SL.
This would put pressure on all clubs, especially if TO are in the mix as well.
There would be some huge air miles clocked up in the Middle 8's next season, especially if Catalan ended up in the mix.

Could both TO & Catalans in the Super 8s mean a possible 5 games in France for TO (& Cats) ?
