Re: 2019 Super League Ins & Outs : Sun Nov 18, 2018 12:40 pm

Newcastle Knights pair Brock Lamb and Pat Mata’utai could be set for moves to Super League, after both players were given official farewells at the club’s presentation night.

Despite making over 40 appearances between them in the past two years, neither player has been able to nail down a regular spot in the Knights’ side and have been deemed as surplus to requirements ahead of next season.

Halfback Lamb was rumoured with Huddersfield earlier this year, however the Giants insisted they weren’t interested in him. The 21-year-old has reportedly received offers from other Super League clubs, though, with Wakefield and Hull FC believed to be among them.

Samoan international Mata’utai, on the other hand, could be set for a reunion with brother Peter at Castleford.

All those players above re show pony flash Harrys most of them ended up in Super league after essentially being driven out of NRL due to misbehaver other issues, merrin is a hard working but dynamic forward with a great work effic and is coming here at his own freewill, not because he cannot get a gig in NRL. He may or may not fail, but either way the stong odds favour him being a succes, he probably won't score 20 trys and 20 assists or win MOS, gbut he has not been brought to leeds to do that. If he stiffens up our defense and lead our pack, job done.

Agree, in a lot of ways he reminds me of Arona when watching him but with more accolades behind him.

After the Hull FC Owner & Chairman Adam Pearson promised fans that he would revamp the squad , and players would be leaving the club whether they had signed contracts or not , and four new signings would be coming in who would strengthen the squad , the club have announced the following :

Lee Radford admits it is unlikely Hull FC will recruit any more players before the start of 2019 season as he opens up on his delight with the current state of his squad.
The Black and Whites ended the 2018 campaign on an eleven-game losing streak.

“Look, I am really happy with what I have got,” Radford told Hull Live. “Once we get a fantastic pre-season into them we will be flying.

Every player would love a marquee signing to come through the door and that superman walks in with the outfit on and makes a massive difference on your season.”
