the top 20 lowest attendances in the SL competition at the JJB/DW stadium since 2008.....London feature twice blowing your argument about lost revenue out of the water.... 2011 Catalans 6,790 2012 Catalans 7,232 2009 Castleford 8,689 2010 Hull KR 11,133 2008 Quins RL 11,453 2009 Catalans 11,543 2009 Salford 11,550 2009 Hudd 11,670 2010 Catalans 12,001 2009 Castleford 12,079 2010 Leeds 12,177 2008 Hudd 12,216 2010 Salford 12,221 2008 Wakefield 12,319 2012 Leeds 12,334 2009 Celtic 12,371 2010 Hull KR 12,429 2009 Hull FC 12,491 2009 Bradford 12,588 2012 London 12,608
BTW, we appear once in the top 20 atendances at Wigan over the same period...Salford, Wakefield and Catalan don't......is it only a matter of time for them as well?
was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

Really? I stated they wereall SL games...they were. I fail to see the flaw? Ah.......you're going to roll out the "regular season v play-off" stance....good luck with that.
Surely end of season one-off knock out games will attract more fans than a boring, nobody cares about them, they don't belong in our game London Broncos match?
Remember, I was answering a comment that we were the lesser draw card toWigan during the season.....but feel free to carryon digging where the other flatcapper gave up!

Sure, they should. But they don't. Play-off games pretty much always draw lower crowds than any fixtures in the regular season.
I'm not saying I agree with the 'other flat capper' (not sure why you feel the need to call me that) but the evidence you used to prove your point is utter garbage.
You see those two lowest crowds, the Catalan playoff games? If Wigan had played London, the crowd would have been equally low and probably lower. And no, I don't have the stats to back that up.

I do though! 2008-2012 at the JJB/DW Stadium. 72 games less 7 play off ties now removed is 5 seasons at 13 home games = 65.
Top 20 worst attended games......London are there 3 times (top 10 they're only there once)and not occupyng the top 5 spots as the original flatcapper was alluding to.

You attempted to rubbish the earlier stats because of play-off games...I have removed them and STILL shown that London are not on average the worst draw card for games at the JJB/DW Stadium

Put your shovel down lad!
You do realise that in 2009 and 2010 ticket prices for the Wigan - Quins game were cut severely. Wigan have often used this tactic for games that are expected to have a particularly low crowd, to attract kids and sponsors.

I'm not sure how this is proving your point.
ah....so now, when faced with yet more facts, you claim ticket prices were "severely" cut
If London are a team nobody is interested in, then it makes no difference if tickets are a fiver or 20 notes....surely nobody would attend anyway?
Top 40 worst attendances and London appear 4 times...

Not really a claim though is it? It's known that they've had Heinz in for one of these games on cheap tickets, filling the North Stand. Unless you think they were all Quins fans are came specifically to see them, I think even you won't be so naive to accept that it's because of this that the crowd was as high as it was.
If there are cheap tickets on the go and people accept then, it doesn't mean they have an interest in the away team. It's far more likely that it's because they have an interest in the home team and want to take advantage of a good deal regardless of the opposition.
