Not sure if it's just coincidence or what, but since him and that other irritant 108 or whatever he calls himself, (in fact thinking about it, it may be himself again,) have been posting all the decent Saints fans except Judderman have left both this and the Saints board, just a thought.

You might just get a prediction right for once here ruuBronn, it'll make a change and probably save you more embarrassment, for now anyway.

Saints fans left this board and went to Redvee well before I started posting.

Because Wakefield love being the underdogs, its very simple a bit like you. When I say Trinity I mean the whole club, players, coaches fans the lot and the more people tell us we have no chance the more we will galvanize, that's what we do, that's why we are still in SL, if we couldn't win against the odds we wouldn't be here.
People always accuse Wakefield of playing above our weight, well if we do how do you reckon that happens? Its a siege mentality, something Leeds know nothing about but should really start learning. You can't have it both ways.
Messages on this message board won't have an effect as I doubt any Wakefield player or coach cares what I think and certainly won't care what you think. However if your attitude is symptomatic of the game as a whole I guarantee you it will fire them up. Its obvious really, why you felt the need to be a smart about it I don't really know, seems to be a thing with increasingly desperate Leeds fans.

'"
You have to remember three things:
1) Leeds fans think they are the biggest club ever
2) Leeds fams think Headingley is even in Leeds
3) Leeds have brilliant marquee players
all of the above are true, if you sing a football song as your club anthem.
Most Leeds fans are decent people, some are not.

That’s probably the biggest load of tosh I’ve seen. Somehow, I doubt you’re still in Super League because you’ve been underdogs for a few games and people have said you would go down. Anyway, what examples are there of Wakey relishing being the underdogs in recent years, I’m struggling to think of any.

Your memory really is poor isn't it.
The million pound games between Cas and more recently Bradford.
Trinity were huge underdogs in both and defied the odds to maintain their SL survival.
Certainly in the first instance, John Kear thrived in the "backs to the wall" environment and used this as a huge motivator for the side, who prospered in the last day decider and more recently, when Trinity were "certainties" for the drop after a train wreck of a season, culminating in all sorts of "horse trading" to try and assemble a squad to compete in the qualifiers and then to have Tim Smith and Kevin Locke lose the plot.
Brian Smith (rightly) refused to pick either of them, which made survival even more "impossible" and yet, Trinity prospered, just.
Kear in particular is superb at galvanising a squad when in adversity and he has a fine record of bringing the best out of a side that has been "written off".
The recent performance of Bradford beating Leeds is a fine example of him "relishing being the underdog".

Huge underdogs? You were at home against Cas who were only 1 point better off than you over the course of the season and had a points difference that was around 270 worst than you. You’d also beaten them home and away earlier that year including nilling them 18-0 at THEIR ground just a few games prior.
Against Bradford again you were the home team and you were facing a Championship team that you’d beaten 48-18 a few games prior. It’d be a push to describe either of those as slight underdogs, ridiculous to say it was HUGE underdogs.
What Bradford did against Leeds was a proper underdog win, those 2 Wakefield wins were just ones you probably should win. But the fans love the underdog tag so much because it makes a win feel more special that you big yourselves up as underdogs more than any rival or neutral fan actually does.

If you love being the underdog then stop complaining when people write you off otherwise you wouldn’t be “underdogs” if they didn’t do it.
As for Leeds, think you’ll find we were only the bookies favourite in 1 of our 8 GF wins and started some of those years as far down as 4th-6th favourites for the title so we haven’t done too bad winning against the odds ourselves over the years.

Are you really trying to tell me Wakefield were underdogs in a game against a championship side, at home with 6 players who still play for Wakefield now? That’s laughable. Huge underdogs against Cas is, at best, pushing it somewhat, at worst also laughable. And what Kear and Bradford beating Leeds has to do with Wakefield, I don’t know.

Wakefield fans will ALWAYS claim they are underdogs no matter who they play but by the end of the paragraph they will also be claiming they will win the game easily.
It really is quite bizarre

| I think some are missing the whole point about the two times we won the million pound game? It wasn’t just the match itself it was the fact we defied the odds to not get relegated...
As a betting man I know we were 1/12 to get relegated when John Kear took over that season even though the actual million pound game will have been a 50/50 call...
As a Wakey fan of over 30 years though I can certainly identify with us playing better as an underdog, it just suits us...we might all be wrong but it seems as a Wakey fan whenever we are expected to win we make real hard work of it...
Just looking at the table with us sitting 3rd and knowing we lost at London and at home to Hull KR...our two worst performances of the season by far must go some way to backing that up?
