Living outside of the M62 corridor, I had completely forgotten there is a RLWC this year. I have seen no talk about it in the press or on mainstream internet sites. You really have to actively seek out information about the tournament, and the average causal supporter simply isn't going to do that.

Back on topic, I am amazed that there are people seriously suggesting we should sing anything other than GSTQ.

This is the sort of stupid nonsense that only rugby league would throw up.

I fear the tournament will not be well attended aside from the opening double-header, one of the semi-finals and the final.

I will be surprised if any of the group games outside of group A attract a five figure attendance (and I am not including the double-header in that).
