Going into administration does not mean the death of a club. 500k taken to prop up a failed company for a few more years seems so dumb to me. Why can't we lose the Bulls from SL? Not as big a club as they're made out to be. Away following is average, home support propped up by v cheap tickets, local juniors ok at best. Big city but NOT a particularly big club. They shouldn't die but they are nothing like as important as being made out.

On top of the financial trouble, we can only name an 18 man squad for monday due to the injuries.

Olbison, Addy, Whitehead, Burgess already in squad.

O'Brien, McAvoy, Murphy, Crookes, Rossi injured. Southernwood out on loan. Bateman suspended.

How many teams have more than a handful of youngsters who would be ready for 1st team action.

My memory may be failing me, but when Wakefield had trouble in 2000/2001, it was the catalyst to give first team action to both Gareth Ellis and Ben Westwood. The experience didn't do those two any harm, and the players which didn't make the grade, wouldn't have done whether they made their debuts then or not. (Nathan Batty, Rob Spicer et al went on to careers in the National Leagues.)

Bradford are important as they have shown they can be a big club, the supporter base is there and the game can't afford to lose major cities and replace with minor ones from a public/media/corporate perspective.

Will be very sad if we lose Bradford from SL and I can't see the RFL allowing it (if they have any sense)
