Fartown is a district in Huddersfield about 2 miles away from the Town centre and probably the same distance from the Galpharm Stadium where we play now along with Huddersfield Town our famous Football team, who unfortunately aren't reaching the hieghts of yesteryear, The Giants used to play at the Huddersfield Cricket and Athletic Club which was situated in Fartown hence the name the FARTOWNERS.
Some of us older supporters still refer to us as Fartown

There were more than that at Wakey, 2,637 was the amount of paying spectators I think.
