Got a Wakey fan at work with the same diddy-club mentality. First said Merrins missus wouldn't like not having anywhere to surf and when pointed out that they were no longer together claimed that as a single bloke he'd be out on the lash all the time. His desire for us to fail supersedes his desire for Wakey to succeed. Laughable!

Forget the bickering. Here's something that all fans can agree on: at least Eddie's retired. Can you imagine how cringeworthy some of his hype-ing of Merrin would have been?

Tyrone Roberts - Fail
Kevin Locke - Fail
Ben Barba - Fail (Played well for 16 rounds, went off the boil when he could not be bothered and then decided to leave half way through his contract)
David Mead - Fail (Okay he is okay, but probably isnt even the best winger at Catalan)
Todd Carney - Fail
