Once again thanks Billy for the countless hours that you spend in collating these figures (although they have been proved to be flawed on a number of occasions.) Can I ask what the purpose of this exercise is, as we fans cannot change things and you have not given us a reason why you persist with this task. Have you sent your figures to RFL for their deliberation or does it just satisfy your little ego that people actually read them.
I don't know where you got the 2013 figure from for this match but at the game the attendance was recorded as 11,200.
My source for the attendance was the sportinglife.com website. The official superleague.co.uk website also claims an attendance of 12,105. Perhaps the recorded attendance of 11,200 at Langtree Park last night was correct but the official attendance is an amendment in order to count all season ticket holders, even if they don't bother to turn up?
And I can't even be bothered to check the 2004-2008 numbers because that is a moronic comparison as if we did have 2 extra teams back then they surely would've been teams that would've gotten below that average crowds therefore driving the average of those years down.

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

These discrepencies, they alter the averages by how much?

was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

Hardly any, but it does show that the guy providing the numbers can't even get them right and he's not at all credible.
Hmmm....there are a numer of "different" declared attendances on various sites....to get a seasons attendance wrong by a few Hundred is hardly a hanging offence. Pedantry on the other hand
Here's another stat....3 out of Leeds' 4 home games have seen attendances that are higher than the average attendance for the last 2 years. Without context those stats could be used as a positive thing. But obviously nobody on here would use stats alone without context to try and prove a point, positive or negative, would they???
