Keep doing what you are doing. Could you also provide cumulative attendances each week?

It would be interesting to see the same stats for the Championship, although harder as there are more teams this year.

Round to round comparisons to last year are pointless unless the same fixtures are played.

Do all Super league clubs make sure that all sports fans in their areas are,
Aware of when the next home game is?
Who they are playing?
The KO time?
Admission prices?
Do all the championship clubs do the same?

When we talk about the 'same' game last season, you've got to take into account that this is 2nd game in, and includes first home games for clubs, so mostly, you'd expect attendances to be up slightly vs same opponents. Too early to say anything accurate, but superfically, it feels like we're a bit down so far. I predict roughly 10% down over the full season.

Except some games in the first 2 rounds have been played in poor weather but the corresponding fixture from last year was played in good weather in the summer. So you'd expect those attendances to be down a little.
Plus didn't Huddersfield and Bradford have cheap season ticket deals that they don't have this season?

Exactly this. Unless the matches were played at the same time as last season, then any comparison is worthless. But I suppose it keeps anoraks like William occupied.

It's no more or less stupid than the RFL making bold claims after one round last year. It's more forgiveable mind you, because it's just a person putting a bit of text on a discussion board, as opposed to a statement made by a sporting governing body run by people on six-figure salaries.
