I remember when we had the little incident at McAlpine, and someone phoned in to Blunderside to accuse City fans of being the culprits. The presenter then asked (tongue in cheek) if it was the same City fans who started the Good Friday riot many years before.
The laughable part about it, is the fact that in 1981, City had barely enough fans to start a scuffle, nevermind a full blown riot.

Joke accepted, it's just that an awful lot of rugby fans are quick to point the finger at football fans, the trouble at Warrington the other year being a prime example.
Regarding Good Friday, if you ever read 'City Psychos' you discover the same lads who fought together under the City name regularly faced up to each other at rugby.
