I Think flower would still have walked for the first punch if I'm honest, at least for 10. But he had ample time to pull out of the second one and on rewatching it this morning it doesn't get any better, it was sickening.

None of the build up excuses his actions, from my point of view I think Flower actually did start it, LH seemed to get in his way and flower hit him on the back of the head.

I'm so glad Wigan lost last night, I'm not a fan of Wanes way of coaching nor am I a fan of how wigan play, so I was chuffed for Saints and their supporters, Wigan are lucky St's didn't have any half backs as they would have taken a hammering IMO.

and you have proof of what the coach said?

Saints were crap and Flower gifted them the game. Believe me, as an FC fan, I can see when I am watching a poor side.

Fact is, if he hadn't stepped into Flower's path none of it would have happened. If he hadn't struck Flower in the face with the forearm he would never have been punched. Hohaia knows all the tricks in the book but chose the wrong battle twice in quick succession last night.

I've already explained it once. If it upsets you so much you're in the wrong place.

Block him? He's stood his ground! He doesn't have to move out of the way, it's up to the player to go around him. Take your Wigan specs off.

Had Flower not tried to banjo a player from behind for having the audacity to be stood on the rugby field, there'd have been no initial reaction.

Last night was sickening. It was as bad / worse than anything I've seen in 50 years of watching RL. I am afraid Flower is finished in this game. If he's not, then the game loses all credibility and lots of supporters and sponsors.
