I'll also add that Perez stated that after 3 years there would be another meeting with Super league to discuss funding etc, that is written into the playing agreement.

Meeting never happened.

Your not talking about the 2006 experiment in which they put a French club in Superleague so that the club could professionalise the top French players and provide a French test match team to play Great Britain annually. International competition being so important to the game?

Well, from a quick Google search, an orange tree grown from seed takes 15 to 20 years to bare fruit, so it's a pretty rubbish analogy!
