The likely acquisition of David Mead by Catalans is likely to change the club's prospects for 2018 significantly. All that is needed is to bolster the pack, and especially the hooking position.

huddersfield have had alot more than just competitive seasons... wasnt long ago we were a permanent top 4 team in super league, won the LLS, semi final play offs and two challenge cup finals (yep all lost but wakefield can only dream of that) .Dropped away past two years from this but slowly working our way back now after abit of a rebuilding phase and injury hit seasons

Yeah, we'd take that.

Couldn't take all that relative success and yet still be a club that has to give season tickets away for £99 though. That would never do.

"Birthplace of RL" is all rubbish - it's just the place in the middle of the clubs at the time - the logical place for a meeting.

The sooner "giants" die off the better for the game - get a team in with more potential - someone like Hemel!

But best not to mention all the years you finished bottom, with no relegation, and the sacrifice of Sheffield to prop you up.

You mean an established SL club that may do better than an all or nothing game to stay in SL
