JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
well if survival is finishing 5th for the second time in a row then yes I'll except that
5th-8th is mid table mediocrity. More so this year as 1-4 were decided 8 weeks ago....you were playing dead rubbers and FC in freefall combined with Catalans still drunk after the cup and "bi-polar Huddrsfield below you is no real feat....ad you get the same money too.

now for next season
ergo...now for another handout.

proof is in the pudding having three players in the dream team means we are going in the right direction
crumbs from the table....they couldn't just pick from the top 4 teams, but they really should have!

oh and good luck with game at the weekend I'll be rooting for you but you do realise you will be favourites for the drop next season
Thanks and as I've said, I don't really think we should go up and believe we may well be favourites to go up next season

We have pedigree....it's you lot that do the in-breeding

unlike us who know how to tread water and have mastered the art of survival
well, at least you admit it

as for talking about grounds please do tell us when you tend to stay put
We should never have left the Stoop, but that's a whole different discussion on a whole different board, although it's good to know that Wakefield aren't moving any time soon...if you catch my drift
Back to the topic. Will Leigh be able to field 17? Can't see past a hiding from Fev....Fev 50+ Leigh 6

Well, with a following wind ie Leeds making Briscoe and Newman available on DR, Fev will probably name 16, of which 1 will be very unlikely to get on the pitch, 1 will be struggling from the moment he comes on and a further 1 will probably be hoping he doesn't have to do too many minutes. The 2 remaining fit props in the squad have rotated by taking it in turns to do 80mins the last 2 games. So probably nowhere near as one sided as you suggest.

If we are in anything like the state we were in last Sunday, it WILL be one-sided. I think Reynolds should be back for Leigh, maybe one of Adam Walne/Mason, maybe Dawson-Jones (if he gets paid!), maybe Cox, if he isn't working. To balance that, Dagger will be out, and I hope Higham recovers from Dewsbury!

Surely the RFL could allow leigh or featherstone bring in BARLA players or 'free agents' for this game. Even allowing for any payments that may not be forthcoming, as long as they are insured, this is best the solution in my opinion.

This was my thought aswell. Dont quote me on this but im sure years ago a SL team was allowed a dispensation after the deadline because of injuries etc. I cant see why a dispensation cant be applied in this case
