In all seriousness do they have enough covered seating to meet the superleague minimum standards? Or will we have another example of RFL bending the rules just because that team plays in a fashionable and desirable metropolis like Wakefield?
Lot's of pure jealousy pouring from the same old posters time and time again. Rather than commenting on the 1000 beer guzzlers how about the ones that are sitting watching the game? There may not be the near 8k crowd as announced but looking at images from the game there was at least 5k+ sat in the stands watching the greatest game.
Not bad for a 'nearly' two year old club in a city with no RL history.
What average crowds have London & Halifax knocked out this year?
I don't care to join a measuring contest about crowds - the OT was about a biting incident; which looked fairly conclusive on the slo-mo footage and if so, should see the offender given a lengthy, if not permanent ban. It's about the lowest thing a player can do on the field, short of inserting a digit into the anus, and deserves the opprobrium of everyone who cares about the game.
Hard to pin it on Rowley directly as some have done, but he does seem to have a 'brand,' which is less than savoury.
"Toronto Wolfpack can confirm that following this weekend’s game the Club has stood Jack Bussey down from the team camp. He will be returning to the UK with immediate effect."
Feel free to resume your discussion on crowd size.

Squad player at best, you won't miss the dirty fatty !
JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.

What happeed....did Rowley find another monitor, because he said yesterday in the BBC site.....
"We did have a monitor but we couldn't quite see, so let the powers-that-be deal with those ones.

It's not that argyle needs the money at the moment, but the blatant lies to make the wolfpack seem more and more like the messiah that the game needs is just tiresome.....6k for a 2nd tier side in their 2nd year is brilliant regardless of freebies etc.....but christ on a bike, the blatant lies are just tedious.
Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Most idiotic post ever goes to Grimmy..... The way to restart should be an arm wrestle between a designated player from each side.

Bingo! Embarrassing level of bitterness in this thread, precisely the sort of thinking that is holding the sport back.

Sorry that's a load of hooey! The people holding the sport "back" are either the SL Clubs heading by Lenagan and McManus, or the RFL and Hetherington, or even Sky, not the opinions of an Internet forum that in reality has no effect compared to the others.
