Leeds have more points and an easier run in, Wigan have many to come back and an easier run in, Saints would expect the new coach bump to carry on but if it doesnt they could be in trouble as well.

How do Leeds and Wigan have an easier run in - who are these teams. Wern't Salford and Wakefield easy teams at the start of the season. Have Leigh and Widnes not got a shed load of players due back from injury.
You're only as good as your last game, no such thing as an easier run.
Les Catalans win all their home games, win away against Widnes, and Wakefield need 4 wins from Hudds, Wigan, Salford, Leeds, Warrington, Cas, Widnes and Saints.
Im not saying Catalans will make it, but they wont have to be 'great' and others don't have to be 'terrible' for it to happen.
Using this formula, any team could do the same ? Catalan have been gash all season and a new coach on board wont suddenly turn them into world beaters. Their star man, Bird, seems to want to be the "grub" of SL (and I believe he should be much better than that) and they seem to have lost most of their go froward since Taylor left .
The one thing they wont do is win 9/9.
You have them winning away at Wakefield a team in good form that have comfortably beaten them on the hallowed Perpignan turf plus, the 4 wins that you say they will need form will probably be just 2 (Huddersfield and Widnes), the rest of those fixtures will be very difficult for them to win.
It's just as likely (possibly more likely) that they will be playing Toulouse in the Middle 8's

Yeah if you wish, leigh and widnes are going to be brilliant now and all remaining fixtures are equal.

Where do i have them winning away at Wakefield? Look, all im saying is that Les Catalans are always capable at home, and they have 5 home games left, I wouldnt be surprised to see a good coach get 7 wins out of them, If they get someone very good then... That would leave Wakefield needing 4 wins from Hudds home, Wigan away, Salford away, Leeds home, Hull away, Wire home, Cas home, Widnes away, Saints home. I dont think most fans would be thinking Wakefield have collapsed or played terribly if they were to lose against Wigan, Salford, Leeds, Hull, Cas, and one of Saints and Wire who will also likely be playing for a place in the top 8.

As I say you were one of those claiming Wakefield would be crap and so far they haven't been. So yes why won't Widnes or Leigh have a purple patch and scalp a few top clubs - that's how sport works, that's the fun bit - that's why none of your daft theories ever work.
Again YOU ARE ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR LAST GAME, now write that 1000 times on the blackboard please.
