there isn't a stand at the other end, it's a swimming pool

A big club like Leeds needs a 25,000 seat stadium.

The RFL needs a 50,000 seater for internationals between nations and the WCC series.

Wembley for the Challenge Cup and one international each season.

Surely that's the Wakefield Wildcats ground being the one with the Benidorm Flats?
I'm sure that they never even had planning permission for it but just went on and erected it

Well apparently Catalans is a swimming pool so it's even more like Benidorm (although Wakefield has more Benidorm-like weather obviously).
