Intrigue? Widnes first game back in SL on the much maligned i-Pitch. I know I watched it however if the same game is on this year I probably won't. Likewise I watched Salford vs HKR last week because I was interested to see how Salford would fair against the first team they faced this year were they had a chance of competing and whether or not they were going to show some fighting-through-adversity (ala Bradford last year). Also as a Leeds fan I wanted to see how Griffin went as we had just loaned him to Salford. Would I have watched the same game last year? Not likely.
