I heard a rumour today of an nrl club coming in for Alex walmsley and luke Thompson as a double signing. They'd have to pay as both are under contract. Personally I don't think that rumour has legs, Thompson would get an nrl gig tomorrow if he fancied it though.

It’s hardly a rumour. It’s been all over the press for 2 days now.

Thompson will defo be going after next season but walmsley is going nowhere. It won’t be Canterbury though as the press claim. Pretty much every NRL team has enquired about Thompson so he can have his pick

That's exactly what a rumour is! Agree with you on luke Thompson, he would improve any side. Immense in the grand final.

I heard a rumour today that Luke Thompson doesn't like Australia. He had a 'Maccas' and it tasted odd and the coke tastes funny, the chocolate is pants and it's too hot for his fair complexion, so he's leaving the GB tour to come home.

St Helens academy have just demolished the North Sydney bears by a score of 40 points to zero. Lewis Dodd gave an absolute masterclass at scrum half with a hand in nearly all the tries including an outrageous no look pass, not seen since Tommy Martyn split the wigan defence open with a similar pass.

He will be a true asset next season and is the reason why St Helens let Danny Richardson move to Cas as they already rate Dodd greater than Richardson
