I agree, I honestly thought selling out the bottom 2 tiers would have been all we could have hoped for.

I hope the great crowd here encourages us to keep playing games at Wembley. We should be hosting Australia there for each 4 Nations or Test Series.

So how many seats have been sold at Wembley so far?

And can we expect an 8,000 - 10,000 walk up, to break the world record for international rugby league attendances?

Last official update was 65K, but I assume we are closer to 70k now. Not sure we will get much of a 'walk-up' if you are from the heartlands you'd have booked your train, coach and/or hotel long ago. So we are reliant on the Londoners for any walk-up crowd.

Has it been advertised that you can pay on the day? If not, then there'll be very few as most people would assume you'd need tickets for a major event.

I saw / heard reference to c.73,000 this morning but that was nothing official - probably some journalistic guess.

The only upside to doing it their way is so they can close the concourse bars / toilets etc - but keeping them open would mean smaller queues and therefore more sales ..... surely ?

Also, then we wouldn't have a whole stand empty !!!!

Top tier holds just short of 40k and almost half sold so I'd be guessing at 68,000 for tomorrow

haven't seen anything, but they are advising that you can print your tickets at home.

Not sure Wembley can handle cash sales at the Turnstyles, from memory its all electronic? but surely they can arrange or tickets to be sold from the ticket office or a stall on Wembley Way.

No, it costs more to steward and open services.

I've never known a set of supporters worry so much and go into so much detail about attendances. I'm sure no other main sport gets worked up in the same way (football, union, cricket). Why do you all care so much?? Is it an inferiority complex?

I think fans like to see the sport do well, you know with 3 pro clubs in administration, no major sponsors and very little money...
