Toulouse, despite being sadly depleted by the loss of four star players, managed to defeat Halifax by two tries to one at Halifax. 12-10.

A narrow win that leaves two fellow Championship powerhouses, Batley and Rochdale, still breathing down their Touloussian necks.

Toulouse could still get promoted if results improve once they get their injured stars back.


I would like to see Hull KR, London and Toulouse all get promoted to Super League.

Two tries to one victory. Toulouse were playing in torrid conditions without four (4) stars: full back Mark Kheirallah, winger Kuni Minga, centre Gavin Margueritte, and hooker Kane Bentley. Those circumstances make it an important victory.

Having four stars missing is a relevant circumstance.

Only 4 ? Luxury , when I was a kid we'd have 17 players injured and we'd have to play 3 in nappies , 2 because they were babies and one who had incontinence along with a three legged greyhound on the wing

We were missing quite a few of our first teamers as well. Lost our main prop with a head injury in first minute and played 60 minutes with 15 men as well. Toulouse (as the full time team) were blowing a bit towards the end and if the ball had stuck for us the result could've been very different.

Few dubious calls from Campbell but that's rugby league. imo a draw would've been a fair reflection on both sides.
