Barcelon itself or Girona aren't expensive at all, certainly cheaper than getting to Perpignan and far bigger choice on flights.

I am not living in dreamland nor in Chorley (which I have never even visited), but instead in beautiful Sydney (for a short time).

The minute the fixtures are announced the likes of Ryanair and Jet 2 will be on it like a tramp on chips. Just check the prices on Friday flights to Barcelona or Girona and Sunday and Monday flights in the opposite direction.

Great pictures of the Catalan team parading the trophy to a packed Nou Camp last night, surely theyve got to take one game on the road there again next year.

For tightwads such as yourself, consider a flight from London which will comfortably come in at under £100 return. Couple that with a Megabus or National Express down from the North and you're laughing.

People getting into petty squables (like on every other thread) is getting rather tedious....

So, to the point of the OP, this is fantastic news. If they could build up close ties with the Barcelona club (which they appear to be doing), that would be an outstanding move forward.

Not a tightwad or a supporter of either Wigan or Catalan so wouldn't be going, just speaking from experience.

Roy, I know it's not easy, but we should try and not bite, when it goes fishing. Did we troll about his (alleged) beloved Leeds Rhinos being in the qualifiers for the 2nd time in 3 seasons. NO WE DID NOT
But if WE get annoyed by Sir, we might/will receive a warning or a 5 day ban.
