So are you suggesting that people perceive Bailey to be a thug are basing that perception on his race?
I personally consider him to be of a similar ilk to Terry Newton and the colour of either man's skin does not come into it.

I haven't seen a mention on anythread about how well Buderus reacted to the situation. The highlights are the video site, and I thought Buderus was very good.

By the way, now that I've seen the replay, you can clearly see Bailey going for a headbutt on long. And don't tell me it wasn't serious, watch the reply (the bobbydazzler123 video on the vid site has it at 0:37) he's clearly going right for long. That's right. 6ft4 prop bailey, goes for 5ft8 scrumhalf Long. Top stuff from the man who has never been labelled a coward.

Edit, infact what seems to happen is that once Radford is being held back by Buderus, and there's a decent group around them, Bailey comes in for a swing at Radford, bus as Long/senior are in the way, he can't hit him. Radford then reacts again in retailiation to that, as Senior pushes bailey away (and basically tells him to stay out of it). Bailey then goes to nut Long, but misses, and as Long laughs in his face, and looks at Hall as if to say "what the love was that about?", Bailey goes for long again, and has to be pushed away by Delany.


You guys may argue over who is at fault, and what the punishments should have been, etc, but I'm just saying this: In the 'aftermath' of the incident, Bailey acted appallingly.

Please tell me you are on the wind up? Because if you aren't what you have written and implied has to be the most ridiculous and contemptible pile of jizz it has ever been my misfortune to read. People are defending Lee Radford for one reason and one reason only and that reason is they know Ryan Bailey is the dirtiest, slyest, most horrible, odious, despicable man playing in Super league and that opinion wouldn't change if his skin colour was purple, green or pink with yellow dots! Regardless of colour Bailey is a universally disliked **** that deserves all he got and a whole lot more and that's all there is to it.

I would have liked to have seen a yellow card to both players involved, but Radford seeing red was hardly unexpected.

Red cards just spoil the game for a neutral. It was just waiting for Hull to tire and Leeds to get infront. The half time scoreline was a slight suprise but second half was typical one way traffic.

I wouldn't say Radford was cowardly, the red mist had come down and he just lost it. I also don't think the elbows from Bailey were deliberate so for that reason I didn't have any arguments with the red card. What did annoy me about Bailey was his ridiculous "hold me back" routine culminiting in him trying to stick his nut on Longy who wasn't looking and was trying to diffuse the situation.

As for the race card, don't be soft.

Lol at people saying Bailey should have got 10 mins.
Suppose he did get his head in the way of Radford's fist.... How naughty. There is no doubt in my mind that had the roles been reversed bailey would be crucified while poor radford would be encouraged to sue for assault.

Regardless of being white, yellow, green or black Radford should never have been sent off.

I can point to numerous other punches and fights this season and no red cards.

Shocking from Ian Smith but not surprised, he's incompetent.
