Wrexham are a better target area for the likes of Widnes and St Helens. Think the Crusaders need to stick to South Wales to attract new support personally.

I went to Wrexham to watch Eng Wales about 8 years ago i reckon? Could be wrong but it was a great day out.
If you'd have said then there'd be a welsh team in SL i'd have laughed

i still think that the rfl missed a treat when wrexham fc went into admin a few years back, they should have bought the lease to the ground, let wrexham fc have a 99 year lease and et up a lower division team in wrexham, i think it would have bought a few fans of footy for saving their club too.

good idea, but the RFL were skint after the 2000 world cup fiasco as well

buying a football clubs ground and leasing it to them and running an RL club out of the same ground isn't a bad idea for the future though.

Maybe a good idea for a team in say Northern Ireland, Irish football clubs could always use the money and say a shiny new 4000 seater stadium in Belfast for a championship club would be lovely. Then again i like to dream about having league here!

Isn't it about as far from Bridgend to Wrexham as it is from Bridgend to Harlequins? i.e. about 160 miles?

It's only 40 miles to Wrexham from St Helens. Would any Crusaders fans turn up for a 320-mile round trip for a home game? (Genuine question...)

But on the subject of a Wales vs England game though, I do think Wrexham would be a better bet for a good crowd if advertised well as it is not too far from the heartlands.
