I agree. Les Catalans Dragons still have the talent to be in the Grand Final.

If this top draw team cannot win most of their next six home games then Kevin Walters can start to pack his bags in June.

Could make the top 3 again but I doubt the Grand Final. There is a lot of responsibility on Shane Perry at scrum half.

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

They have some good players, I'll be interested to see how that cat Jason Ryles goes.

Bit like Danny Nutley - only he was still getting a game in the NRL in 2008 aged 35!!!

Um, he is an Australian. Playing a few games in an Australian competition. We didnt spend huge money and fly him over because at 35 he was better than everyone else.

Idiot!

Les Cats worry me. Their choice of coach was shocking and it looks like whatever they had last season came over in Mick Potter's suitcase.

I just hope we don't see a Salford, Catalans and Celtic bottom three.

I agree with you that the choice of Walters was shocking. There was Graham Murray and even John Lang available. Both had taken their sides to a Grand Final (and Lang won his). Murray had taken both the Sydney Roosters and the North Queensland COwboys to a Grand Final, and had also taken the Cowboys to the semis on other occasions.

The pressure needs to be on Walters to perform. He must ship up or ship out. There future of the game in France and possibly even in Spain is hanging on his club's performance.

I have a feeling that both Lang and Murray want to stay in Australia.

Where did you get that feeling?

For seven months of the year (April to October) the weather in Perpignan is fantastic. Of the remaining five months November will be spent on holidays back in Australia. So four months of rain and cold will be no huge burden when the rest of the year is so sunny and warm.

Lang and Murray are as attracted to a good salary and a good challenge as the rest of us. I fully expect to have John and Graham take any job offer from Bernard very seriously.
