I fancy Fax to pip TO13 for the last place mainly because I feel Richard Marshall is more canny than Houles. Swinton is a must win at the weekend and a victory over Fev at home will I think, determine their season.

It could get tight up there, with 6 contenders (plus Batley), fighting for 4 middle 8 spots. You have to fancy Toronto, purely on their willingness to spend big but, it may all come down to who has the deepest pockets when the middle 8's get closer, which could mean Toronto, Toulouse and London, plus, either Fev or Fax.
If it does end up this way, youll be clocking up plenty of air miles.

You don't think Leigh stand a chance then? They are red hot at the moment, and things may get interesting at the end of May, when they will have played London, Featherstone and Toronto.

Red hot? You do know your 6th in the league.
Personally I think if Leigh don’t win at least 2 of the games you’ve mentioned, they won’t make 4th place.

The comment was actually "Red hot at the moment" and of course everyone knows Leigh are 6th in the league as a result of being "Red hot at the moment", what everyone also knows is that you are totally obsessed with Leigh and are terrified that they may displace one of your favourites from the top four.

Yes, we are 6th. Of course, the current system is not about being 1st-4th, at this stage of the season. Our last seven games have all been won, having scored 295 points and conceded 62. So, definitely red hot - currently. And yes, we need to win at least two of those games, but what if we win all three of them, what then?
Having seen London thrashed twice at Leigh in recent weeks, I no longer fancy their chances of finishing in the top four. They started the season so well, but I fear injuries and a deterioration in confidence, are beginning to take their toll. Their 'body language' wasn't good last Sunday, when they were totally dominated. Let's see if they can recover in time to receive Leigh the weekend after next.

Of course Leigh have a chance to make the top 4 but, you (Leigh) are relying on those clubs currently above you in the table, to slip up. This could happen and you can then point the finger at my error and if you beat all the sides that are currently above you, you will be sitting pretty at the top of the pile.
As you say, it will all start to get interesting over the next 3 or 4 weeks.
Btw, it wasn't an "anti Leigh" post, merely an observation

You fail to mention the fact that those teams above Leigh also have to play each other, which in turn will see them lose points. This w/end it's TW v Fax,and next w/end it's TO v Fev, then we have TW v TO @ magic w/end and so on. Leigh just need to keep winning, and playing the way they are,and they stand a good chance of being in the mix at the end of the season, but owt can happen. I said weeks ago that there are more twist and turns to come yet, and that was when London were flying high.

It's good to see. Much as the Leigh fans enjoyed to procession in your promotion season, for the rest of us (and the Championship contenders), it's far better to have 5/6/7 clubs fighting for the top 4 and it should actually help "harden up" the sides ready for the middle 8's.
Apart from Toronto, who do the Leigh fans see as their sternest competition for promotion ?
