Wigans signings are quality and as a Wire fan i'd be fearful of them next year.
Its ridiculous to suggest they aren't moving in the right direction with British players either and whoever said we at Wire are one of the sides with the most overseas players.. go and have a stint in the naughty corner.

I agree with some comments above that i personally dont think Wigan will win anything this season, it has been shown over the last few weeks with games against Saints & Wire where we have come up short!

But from the state that we where in last season, i am more than pleased with the progress.

Next year we should be the real deal. MM was always going to use his Melbourne connections and why not? We have brought over 3 great players that will not only improve Wigan, but they are also major signing for the game in the UK, Three proven NRL players at the ages of 28/26/27. Not our usual signings in the 30+ region.

I think it's quite positive for the game here tbh - bringing in quality players in there prime should be applauded not jeered (not 100% sure on Finch though). The issue for me is when clubs bring over past it players or those who simply arnt good enough for the NRL but take up squad places

Wigan will bring in these 3 overseas players and release at least 4 in Phelps, Bailey, Feka and Riddell. I wouldn't be suprsied to see Pryce released aswell with 2 guys in Charnley and Marsh moving up the pecking order. I also get the feeling we may release one of Prescott or O'Carroll so that we can get guys like Ben Davies and a bulked up Mossop more gametime at prop.

We'll have one less overseas player at Wigan next year then this and it could be even more with Carmont off contract and the odd rumour flying around that Amos Roberts may leave.

I heard a rumour. Ssshsshh, keep it quiet, it's ultra, ultra, ultra top secret. Possibly Michael Shenton and get this, also Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook.

Why sign wasters like Riddell, Carmont, Feka, Bailey, Finch and Lima when you've got a goldmine just beneath the surface? Put some faith in them FFS.

Thornley, Marsh, Davies and Charnley should all be in the 17 for Wigan next season. How many will be? 0?
